Round Here is a sole trader business providing residential home tech installation services in south Liverpool. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What information we collect
When you contact us via the website form: your name, address, postcode, phone number, and the service you are enquiring about.
When you contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email: your phone number or email address, plus anything you choose to tell us about your enquiry.
When you become a customer: the above, plus job details, notes on your property's network setup, and payment records.
When you visit our website: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected through analytics and advertising cookies where you consent to them.

Marketing
We will not add you to a marketing list or send you promotional messages unless you have asked us to. If we ever do, you can opt out at any time by replying to any message or emailing cs@getroundhere.co.uk.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with providers that help us run the business:
- EmailJS, delivers website enquiry form submissions to our inbox
- Lovable, hosts our website
- WhatsApp (Meta), where you choose to contact us via WhatsApp
- Google, website analytics and advertising measurement, where you consent
- Our payment providers, Stripe, PayPal and Monzo, for processing payments
- HMRC and our accountant, where required for tax and accounting
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are covered by UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs: 12 months, then deleted.
Customer and job records: 6 years from the end of the relevant tax year, as required for tax purposes.
Website analytics data: as set by the relevant provider, typically no more than 26 months.

Our website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. It may also use analytics and advertising cookies, which are only set if you consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie banner, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

Security
We keep your information on password-protected devices and accounts, and only share it with the providers listed above. If we ever suffer a breach that puts your rights at risk, we will notify you and the Information Commissioner's Office as required.
Children
Our services are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect information about children through our website.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first at cs@getroundhere.co.uk so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office:
